We are the aliens (Random Talk #2)

 One random thought i had is that we talk about aliens like these extra terrestrial beings but if we really think about it WE ARE THE ALIENS!!

But ¿how? if we take in consideration that word alien applies to something foreign it doesn't make much sense, but it makes all the sense in the world if we see ourselves in the eyes of other animals, like imagine being a dog or a monkey and seeing a fighter jet at the sky or a giant building or statue.. and let's not get started with cars.

we as a human species have made lots and lots of things that aren't natural anymore, the computer i'm using and the keyboard i use to write this are proof of it, we are the only species on earth that goes beyond toolmaking and we now have entire industries focused on something in particular.. like CHOCOLATE BARS for example... or DONUTS... or CHICKEN WINGS!!!

The only species that has been able to go out to space on this planet has been us, and the only ones able to investigate about our past and (kinda) predict the future in topics like climate change, population and mortality. So if you ever feel that itch to watch UFO videos maybe you just have to go stare at the mirror for an hour and realize that not only you're an Alien and an apex predator, but you now want chicken  wings!!

How can we gain inspiration? (Random Talk)

 TURN OFF THE SCREEN.

            WELL... NOT REALLY...

                           OR MAYBE TURN IT OFF WHEN THINKING.

Today as i was about to go out on a walk to the park i had this catchy alternative rock song in my mind, it wasn't from a band or artist, it was from me, i imagined it on the spot, riff, bassline, lyrics, chorus and bridge, beginning and end.

But then i made the genius idea of going back to checking my phone and go on with my day, as i was about to search on my mental hard drive for the song it wasn't there anymore... i lost it,  obviously you can't write a song from your mind, otherwise it would be like..

"DUN... DUN DUN DUN... DUN DUN... DUUUUUUN DUN DUN.... DUN"

Maybe we can all get inspired by just being away from the invisible obligations of the modern world, that being the screens, social media, etc. Boredom is not only your friend, it is your ALLY, your bridge between you and what you can really get on paper when the time comes, without needing confirmation from others.

I get my inspiration from boredom, it feels like a door that opens and i just walk inside on autopilot, writing, reading, listening to music, then staying AWAY from those things and just be you and blank noise really makes you think on creating rather than consuming.
